Watcha Doing this Summer?

[Trigami-Review]
Most people know that one of my favourite activities in the world is travelling the world. However, I am almost always travelling outside Europe and shamefully I have to admit that I don’t have too much knowledge about European countries. At night I sometimes wake up and wonder if San Marino is something people live in or something people eat. Until now I honestly believed it is some sort of cheese and cheese only!
Now I have found a website that can put things right:
"visiteurope" (www.visiteurope.com)
It is a very attractive looking site providing lots of travel information. So if you ever want to plan a trip through Europe, and believe me it is worth it, so I’ve heard- this website might certainly be worth your while.
Holiday time is coming up, the sun is bright and the urge to get out there is huge…so why not spend your holidays hiking along the Spanish coast, discovering crazy water sport activities in Slovenia, Holland or Denmark and enjoying a relaxed and cheese-free lifestyle in San Marino. Ahhhhhhhhh, what wonderful thoughts…I might just decide that Europe is worth a trip this summer.
Anyway, back to reality... Visiteurope.com can be your personal guide this year, offering accommodation, general information about European destinations, where to go, what to do and so on and so forth. My favourite part of the website is the section ‘Things to do’. It gives you some fantastic ideas of how to spend a holiday of a different kind, like Marathons in Europe (for those who are very ambitious and I am telling ya, it ain’t me), Cyclotourism or Spas in Europe (now we are talking…pedicure, massage, facials, sooooooooo Sex and the City) and for the boys Europe at your feet: Hiking (for all those who think they are Indiana-Jones-adventurers).
That section is a great idea and gives a huge variety to what else to do besides sitting on the beach, slurping cocktails and staring into a blue sky. Not that there is something wrong with it, God knows, but a bit of activity here and there makes the holiday so much more memorable…
Furthermore, the website claims one of their special features to be a Map of Europe... "Visiteurope" Really Long Link
Allegedly it’s very simple to use, but it kind of reminds me of Google Earth. The idea is the same, however whereas the Map of Europe doesn’t offer a great deal of graphic brilliance, it nevertheless gives you a huge amount of information on the country you clicked on. It is indeed simple to use and offers some fancy buttons to play around with, so if you want to have a closer look on Europe, all you need is the Map of Europe and loads of time!
The site is definitely worth to have a look at, not necessarily if you are looking for a quick get-a-way; booking a 7-day holiday in 7 minutes or looking for the typical all-inclusive-offer, no,
"visiteurope" (www.visiteurope.com)
and especially "Visiteurope" Really Long Link
is so much more sophisticated. It is for those who love planning the perfect little adventures, for those who want to make their European experience more
Sex-and –the-City-like (not that they offer anything on sex of course, don’t be ridiculous, what I mean is the glamorous atmosphere of the TV series…) and for those who whish to have something different.
